A man with a childhood passion for collecting toy cars

The Pakistani man, Aamir Ashfaq’s childhood passion has been collecting the toy cars for the past 32 years and he has achieved to stockpile a collection of more than 5000 cars at present. He claims his collection is the leading in Pakistan. This 39 year old man from Lahore, Pakistan has a craze for toy cars and also has over 4,000 topped down models of tangible vehicles. The resident of Aamir Ashfaq is situated in Allama Iqbal town at Lahore. He is always in look of cars every time, when he visits a market. Presently, he has collected more than 4,000 toy cars of 45 unique brands as per the report of Daily Times.

The Aamir Ashfaq has started the collecting cars, when he was just eight years old. He has obtained a special room created for keeping his collected toy cars in his home. His gathering of toy cars is completely different in itself. Even some of these vehicles have trunks, hoods, and doors, ashtrays that slide out, fuel caps that open and also have glove compartments that have space within. Even some of these toy cars have hanging ignition keys and many of them have working suspension and steering. Ashraf also possesses the cars of several brands such as Majorette, Matchbox, Burago, Hot Wheels, Corgi, Norev, Johnny Lightening, Siku, Maisto, Kinsmart, Real Toy, Jada Toys and Tomica.

Actually, many of his collected cars were manufactured in the Britain, Greece, US, Japan, Germany, China, Italy, Macao, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, France and Hong Kong. His collection also features several brands such as Renault, BMW, Honda, Mercedes Benz, Land Rover, Isuzu, Audi, Fiat, Porsche, Nissan, Volkswagen, Lexus, Ford, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Peugeot, Subaru, Hummer, Ferrari, Austin Martin, Mitsubishi, MG, Range Rover, Subaru, Hyundai, Honda, Mazda, Suzuki, Toyota and Mini Cooper and many more brands. For Aamir, collecting these toy cars have been a passion since his childhood that he still enjoys doing it. He said, “I love every single part on these street machines”. Even he did not face any opposition from his parents regarding this hobby.

He said, “I really thank to my parents for their effort”. They even never refused, whenever I asked for a toy car. Whenever I went to a market, initially, I would like to pick up a toy car and then look towards my parents who never ever disappointed me, he recalled that moment so. Ashfaq also declares that he is really impressed to the cars and feels ultimately pleasure, when he is in his toy car showroom, where these rolling master pieces are sequentially parked. But even though, he has not earned a world record and it’s still being an amazing feat for any Pakistani. Aamir also attributes his successful collection to his parents who were very helpful to him and never objected or interrupted in any circumstance.
